nano

nano is a Japanese bilingual singer born in New York. Her work includes anime theme songs for Arpeggio of Blue Steel, Aria the Scarlet Ammo, Phi Brain: Puzzle of God, Btooom!, Magical Warfare, M3 the Dark Metal, and Magical Girl Raising Project and video game themes for Gunslinger Stratos 2, Re:Vice[D], and Warriors Orochi.

In 2010, nano began sharing English covers of Japanese songs on sites such as YouTube and NicoNico and quickly received positive response from viewers around the world. In 2012, nano made her professional debut with the release of her first album, nanoir, which ranked 10th on the daily Oricon Chart its first day of release.

In 2013, nano held her first live concert, Remember you color., at Shinkiba Studio Coast, which sold out, selling 2,500 tickets its first day. A Zepp Live Tour followed quickly after, and nano has been actively holding concerts both in Japan and internationally since.

In 2015, nano’s third studio album, Rock on., was released, which reached fourth on the Oricon Chart, and she then toured Germany and Taiwan. In 2018, she performed for 2,800 people at FanimeCon in San Jose, CA, nano’s first concert back in her home country. nano continues to reach out beyond borders, connecting people around the world through music.
