VOFAN
VOFAN is a Taiwanese illustrator. He has been the cover illustrator for video game magazine Famitsu Weekly Taiwan since 2004 and served as the head of character design for the PS3 game Time and Eternity. Since 2006, he has been the cover illustrator for the Monogatari light novel series as well as for the mystery series The Forgetful Detective, both written by NISIOISIN. He also illustrates PlayStation Network Taiwan’s virtual avatar AI-Chan. As a photographer, he sometimes combines photographs with illustrations in his work. His other publications include the COLORFUL DREAMS series of illustrations and poems and the album series VOFAN OTONA FANTASY.
Vertical will publish VOFAN’s COLORFUL DREAMS in the US this October. It is a 96-page full-color artbook collecting a wealth of VOFAN’s original, non-commercial works.
VOFAN’s flights are generously provided by EVA Air.
AT ANIME NYC
VOFAN will appear as an Official Guest thanks to Vertical and EVA Air. He will appear on panels, signings, and special events.

VOFAN Signing Times…
- Saturday, 3 PM
- Sunday, 2 PM
There is a STRICT limit of one VOFAN Premium Package per person. (You cannot order both a Saturday and Sunday Premium Package.) Duplicate orders will be deleted. When claiming your Premium Package onsite, your name MUST match your Photo ID. If your name does not match, you will be unable to claim your Premium Package. Premium Packages are non cancellable and non transferable. The only exceptions made will be for those under 18 or those with accessibility bracelets.
VOFAN will sign one copy of COLORFUL DREAMS, or one of his other books, or one blank shikishi per person. VOFAN will only sign official items. Please do not bring bootlegs or fanart.
VOFAN Premium Packages will not mail. All items will be picked up onsite at Anime NYC’s Premium Package Desks at Registration. An email will be sent in November with more details on claiming your package.
An Anime NYC Weekend or Day Ticket is also required to participate in VOFAN’s Anime NYC signings.
