COWBOY BEBOP: BINGE SESSIONS
Howdy, Space Cowboys! Anime NYC in collaboration with Subway Cinema – the makers of the New York Asian Film Festival – present a special Cowboy Bebop celebration 20 years in the making! Cowboy Bebop: The 20th Anniversary Binge Sessions! We’re co-hosting all 26 episodes of the acclaimed series in a massive marathon on Sunday, April 22nd from 12 PM until midnight!
Directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, Cowboy Bebop is a wild ride full of space ships, martial arts, mushrooms, and music by the legendary Yoko Kanno. Relive your anime gateway drug with us!
All episodes will be presented in their original Japanese with English subtitles. The event takes place at Quad Cinema (34 W 13th St) and is in official cooperation with Funimation.
Cosplay is encouraged, with a cosplay contest and additional activities between episodes. Prizes include Anime NYC weekend tickets and Cowboy Bebop goods from Japan!
Tickets are $30 in advance (and $35 the day of) and include an entire day (and night) of Cowboy Bebop! 3, 2, 1… Let’s Jam!
