We’ve had fans wait hours and hours in line to get into our biggest events. We’ve also had fans wait hours and hours in line and not get into our biggest events. We don’t like either. We’re honored by the special events we’re able to host, but we don’t want to create an environment that requires you to camp out all day for just the chance at maybe getting in.

Our pre-show lottery system allows every fan an equal chance at tickets to our rarest events.

It varies based upon the number of seats, but there will be at least 1,000 winners for each ticket giveaway.

Each winner will receive a pair of event tickets.

Unfortunately, we can’t alter the number of event tickets awarded to winners. Our goal is provide all attendees an equal chance at entering and an equal reward for winning.

The lotteries run from Noon Eastern Time on Nov 3 to Noon Eastern Time on November 9. All entries will be emailed with the results of the lotteries by November 11.

No. You can enter any time between Nov 3 and Nov 9. Entering early does not increase your chances of winning.

Each special event has its own lottery. You can enter as many lotteries as you want, but you can only enter each of them once. Entering the same lottery multiple times does not increase your chances of winning. Duplicate entries will be deleted.

Yes. You must enter with your full real name, and this name must match your Photo ID. If you win, you must bring your Photo ID with you to claim your event ticket. If your name does not match your ID, you will be unable to claim your event ticket.

You don’t need an Anime NYC badge when you enter the lottery, but you must have an Anime NYC badge valid for the day of your signing if you win. You need an Anime NYC badge to claim an event ticket and attend it.

Please only enter if you’re a fan of the specific guest and special event. We want to put as many tickets in the hands of fans as we can.

If you’re under 18, you can still enter. Please receive a parent or guardian’s permission first. If you’re under 18 and you win, please bring a School ID or some other similar form of identification.

No. Event tickets are non transferable.

No. Event tickets are non transferable. You may enter for your child or friend with special accessibility needs, but it must be in their name, they must be present to claim the event ticket, and they must use the event ticket.

No. Event tickets this year are Tyvek wristbands that will be placed on winners’ arms when they claim them. Do not tamper or try to remove your wristband until your event. Event tickets are non transferable. No exceptions.

Anime NYC’s pre-show event lotteries are intended to put event tickets into the hands of fans. If you are not serious about attending an event, do not enter their lottery.

Should any event tickets go unclaimed after Nov 11, we will reach out to an additional round of winners pre-show, but there will be no onsite standby lines onsite.

Winners for each lottery are determined by a random number generator.

Yes, each lottery is run independently. Winning or losing one doesn’t impact your chances to win another.

You’ll receive an email by November 11 with details and next steps. You must acknowledge and confirm this mail to claim your event tickets. You’ll then pick up your event tickets onsite at Anime NYC, with more details inside your email.

Sadly, Anime NYC cannot guarantee event tickets. There are far more fans who want to attend our rarest events than possibly can – whether or not there is a lottery.
