ACCESSIBILITY BRACELETS
Anime NYC provides accessibility bracelets to those with mobility, vision, hearing, or other special, medical, or accessibility needs and up to one companion. Please note that both you and your companion must have an Anime NYC ticket to attend the event.
BRACELET PICK UP
- Bracelets will be available during all fan registration hours at our Accessibility/Information Desk in our Registration area. There is no pre-registration for accessibility bracelets.
- You can receive up to TWO accessibility bracelets, one for the fan with accessibility needs and one for a companion. We cannot provide additional accessibility bracelets for further family members or friends.
- Accessibility bracelets do not provide admission to Anime NYC. Day or Weekend tickets are required for admission into Anime NYC. Separate tickets are required for any special ticketed event.
EXHIBIT HALL
- With an accessibility bracelet you can access the Accessibility queue at the front of the Exhibit Hall prior to it opening each day. Do not wait in the Queue Hall and instead wait beside the Exhibit Hall itself (3E).
- Those with Accessibility needs will be let in after ANYC+ ticket holders.
- An accessibility bracelet does not guarantee its wearer can skip to the front of any lines inside the Exhibit Hall. Should any exhibitor be offering exclusives, limited products, etc. you or your companion must wait in the general line for these items.
MAIN STAGE
- A block of seats reserved for fans with accessibility bracelets will be located near the front of the stage. You and your companion MUST wear your accessibility bracelets to sit in these seats.
- Our main stage is cleared in between events, and you must leave the stage in between events – even if you wish to attend the next event on stage.
- After the main stage is cleared between events, two separate lines will be formed outside: (1) Fans with accessibility bracelets, (2) All other badge types.
- If the main stage is at capacity, two separate lines will be formed outside: (1) Fans with accessibility bracelets and (2) All other badge types. Fans will be moved in alternating between these two lines as capacity allows, starting with the accessibility line.
- Accessibility seats and all seats are limited and an accessibility bracelet does not guarantee admission into any main stage event. Once the panel starts, anyone is free to sit in an unclaimed accessibility seat.
- Please be aware that for paid events, there may be modifications to the entry plans for those with accessibility needs.
PANEL ROOMS
- A block of seats reserved for fans with accessibility bracelets will be located near the front of each room. You and your companion MUST wear your accessibility bracelets to sit in these seats.
- Some of our panel rooms are cleared in between events, and you must leave the room in between events – even if you wish to attend the next event in the room.
- After a panel room is cleared between events, two separate lines will be formed outside: (1) Fans with accessibility bracelets, (2) All other badge types.

FREE PRE-SHOW LOTTERY AUTOGRAPHS
- Our rarest guests will have autograph tickets given away via a free pre-show lottery. You must enter this lottery to a chance to win autograph tickets. Accessibility bracelets do not guarantee you autographs from guests with autograph ticket lotteries.
- If ADA assistance is needed for an Anime NYC free autograph signing session, please ensure you have your accessibility bracelet, then please speak to a staff member in the area so they can arrange for an accommodation.
PAID AUTOGRAPHS
- Anime NYC will offer paid autographing with various guests – with the guests themselves charging for their signatures. No special ticket is needed to attend these signings.
- If ADA assistance is needed for an Anime NYC paid autograph signing session, please ensure you have your accessibility bracelets. Then please speak to a staff member in the area so they can arrange for an accommodation.
IN-BOOTH AUTOGRAPHS
- Several guests will be signing at booths on the Exhibit Hall or you may need to purchase goods from a booth to get an autograph. Please note an accessibility bracelet does not guarantee its wearer can skip to the front of any lines inside the Exhibit Hall. As Anime NYC does not directly control in-booth signings, please ask individual booth staffs if they can provide any accommodations.
ASL SERVICES
We are pleased to be able to provide ASL interpreting services for all of our deaf and hard of hearing fans. These free services are available for you to utilize during panels and programming, autographing and photo op sessions, fan meetups, and more.
MAIN STAGE PANELS: Most Main Stage panels will be ASL interpreted. Head to the front of the room and look for the ASL interpreter near the left or right side of the stage. There will be specially labeled seats near this interpreter for you to sit in. Please let our staff know if additional accommodations need to be made. Panels and events that have requested ASL interpretation will be labeled in our mobile app and online schedule. Simply head to our Programming page and filter by ASL to find these panels.
Some Main Stage musical events may not have ASL interpretation available.
OTHER PANELS, AUTOGRAPHS, AND SPECIAL REQEUSTS: Our ASL interpreters are available in a limited capacity, on a first come, first served basis for onsite requests for additional panels, autographs, and special events. Requests for ASL interpreters should be placed through our application form. If the form has closed, please email [email protected] with your request and we will do our best to accommodate it. If you are at the show, you may check at the Accessibility Desk located in the Crystal Palace for information on ASL interpreter availability not requested in advance.
MOBILITY VEHICLE RENTAL
Anime NYC does not provide wheelchairs or other mobility devices for the event. Attendees who would like to rent a mobility vehicle can do so by reserving one online in advance through the Javits Center.
TRANQUILI-TEA LOUNGE POWERED BY ITO EN

If you need a moment to recharge, Ito En’s Tranquili-TEA Lounge is a dedicated space away from the convention floor where fans who are feeling overwhelmed or need a moment to themselves can get a bit of quiet away from the show.
Located in ROOM 1C04-05 our Quiet Room is open to all fans — an accessibility bracelet is not required. Please be quiet in this space!
The Javits Center has sidewalk ramps, automatic doors at all street levels, restrooms and elevators accessible for persons with mobility impairments.
SERVICE ANIMALS
Service animals for persons with disabilities are welcome at the Javits Center. Service animals are limited to dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability.
Please see the Javits Center’s Accessibility Page for more information about the accessibility of the building, including a number for electric scooter rentals.
