Learn more about Star Wars: Visions’ anticipated return to anime from Executive Producer James Waugh (Lucasfilm SVP, Franchise Content and Strategy) and watch a special advance screening of david production’s short BLACK from Volume 3. In BLACK, a psychedelic battle between past and present, light and dark, and life and death plays out in the haunted psyche of an Imperial trooper who is on the cusp of defeat.

A prerecorded Q+A with BLACK Writer, Director, Character Designer, and Key Animator Shinya Ohira will follow the screening. Submit questions for Shinya Ohira through X/TWITTER or INSTAGRAM by July 17th!

Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 includes nine shorts from nine different anime studios, including returning contributors Kamikaze Douga, Kinema citrus Co., Production I.G, and TRIGGER, and introduces five new anime studios to the world of Star Wars — ANIMA (in co-production with Kamikaze Douga), david production, Polygon Pictures, Project Studio Q, and WIT Studio — to further demonstrate the diversity and creativity of Japanese animation.
