NEW! KIDS SUNDAY

New for 2026, we’re introducing a new Kids Sunday ticket for our fans ages 6 to 12! (Children 0-5 are free all four days!) Bring your kids on Sunday and enjoy our new FAMILY ZONE PRESENTED BY SCHOLASTIC! Kids Sunday tickets are not shipped and must be picked up on-site. Proof of age required at pickup.

Want to bring your child on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or all four days? You must purchase a Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or 4-Day ticket for them.

BADGE MAILING SCHEDULE

Badges purchased between January 16 – DATE TBA will have the option to be mailed or picked up from one of our retail partners before the convention. Badges purchased DATE TBA and after must be picked up from one of our retail partners.

If you opt for shipping, your badges will be mailed via USPS with tracking on a rolling basis. Badges mailed in August will be shipped via FedEx 2-Day. See below for the badge mailing schedule and postage fees. Listed time frames are for the beginning of badge mailings, not anticipated arrival dates.

Badges purchased starting on DATE TBA will need to be picked up from one of our participating Retailers and will include an additional processing fee.

We highly recommend securing your badge early to save!

Please note: On-site pickup is limited to attendees with pro, press and exhibitors badges. Fans with International, and PR shipping addresses who select the mailed option will have their badges held for pickup on-site with the shipping fee converted to a pickup fee.

Shipping fees are non-refundable, even in cases of missing or mis-deliveries.

UPGRADES, REFUNDS & RETURNS

WANT TO UPGRADGE YOUR BADGE? We’ll do our best to accommodate as long as the new badge type you want is still available.

ALL BADGES SALES ARE FINAL, AND ANIME NYC OFFERS NO REFUNDS OR CANCELLATIONS. Guest schedules and availability are subject to change. There are no refunds due to a change in a guest’s schedule or cancellation.

NO LONGER ABLE TO ATTEND AND HAVE A SOLD OUT BADGE TYPE? We are currently accepting Return requests for ANYC+ badge types only.  Submissions of other badge types (including 4-Day) will be declined and may affect your ability to return the badge in the future.

The deadline to submit a return is August 13.

FAQs

All attendees 6-years-old and up need a badge to take part in Anime NYC. Children 5-years-old and under are welcome without a badge.

You will have the option of having your badge shipped or picking it up at one of our retail partners. With the exception of non-attendee badges (Press, Guest, Content Creator), Pro badges, international orders, and those outside the contiguous US (including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico), there is no on-site fan badge pickup.

If you purchase a badge via the Shipped Badge option, it will be held for you at Will Call/Registration on site. You will only be able to pick them up on the day of show during Registration hours (which will be shared closer to the show), you will not be able to pick up your badge at a retailer. The shipping fee will be converted to a pickup fee.

If you opt for the Retailer Pickup option, you will be able to pick them from any participating retailer during their normal business hours at any time after the retailer pickup program begins.

We’re sorry, but the QR code by itself is not valid for entry. You will need your physical badge. Badges need to be treated as cash. Lost/stolen/forgotten badges will incur a replacement fee of up to the full price of the badge.

Yes, you can upgrade or swap your badge as long as the badge type is still available BEFORE the Mailing Deadline! Here’s how:

  1. Go to Leap Conventions
  2. Click on CUSTOMER LOGIN on the page
  3. Click on CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP (If you don’t already have an account, if you already have an account, go to step 5)
  4. Create a new account using the same email address you used to purchase your tickets
  5. Verify your email address and sign in to your account
  6. Click on your name in the top right
  7. Select MY ORDERS
  8. From there you will see the option to Upgrade, Swap, or edit your personal information.

Fan badges are 100% transferable. All you need to do is pass the physical badge or badge confirmation on to the new party. (Please note if you had the badge shipped to you or you already picked up your badge, the physical badge must be passed on to the person you are transferring the badge to.) To update the name and email assigned to the badge, follow the steps below:

  1. Visit Leap Conventions
  2. Click on CUSTOMER LOGIN
  3. Click CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP (If you don’t already have an account, if you already have an account, go to step 5)
  4. Create an account using the same email address you used to purchase your badges
  5. Verify your email address and sign in to your account
  6. Click on your name located at the top right
  7. Click MY ORDERS
  8. Click on the order you want to update

Children ages 5 and under do not need a badge to attend. Children ages 6-10 can accompany you with a badge valid for the day of the event. They do not need an Anime NYC+ Badge. Please be aware that certain perks do not apply to the child.

If you are exercising your guaranteed access for standing room in a main stage panel, if your child is age 10 or under, they may accompany you but will have to stand as well.

Your badge is marked as “Shipped” in Leap Conventions because the information has been pulled for shipping. When your badge is mailed out, your tracking information will be emailed to you from: [email protected].

If you were approved as a Cosplay Competitor, AMV finalist, Professional, Panelist, or other special badge type not listed, and you have already purchased a fan badge, unfortunately we will not be offering any refunds. All badge sales are final with no refunds or cancellations available.
