Register to Vote in the 2024 American Manga Awards
Voting registration deadline: July 27, 2024 (11:59 pm, ET)
Manga publishing professionals are invited to help select the winners of the first American Manga Awards. After the nominees are announced in mid-July, registered voters will be able to vote in these categories:
- Best New Manga
- Best Continuing Manga Series
- Best New Edition of Classic Manga
- Best Translation
- Best Lettering
- Best Publication Design

VOTING ELIGIBILITY
Voting for the manga, translation, lettering and publication design awards will be determined by votes received from professionals working in an editorial capacity as employees or freelancers with North America (US/Canada) manga publishers.
This includes:
- Editors
- Publishers
- Translation professionals
- Localization professionals
- Lettering professionals
- Design and production professionals (print and digital)
- All nominees in each category
- All judges in each category
Owners and managers of comics shops and bookstores, comics historians and educators, literary agents, and graphic novel librarians are welcome to apply to be voters for these awards.
Voting will not be open to the general public. Professionals in non-editorial roles, such as sales, marketing, public relations, press, and social media influencers are also not eligible for voting in these awards.
After the nominees are selected by the nominating judges in mid-July, registered eligible voters will be able to cast their ballots at the American Manga Awards website. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at the Japan Society in New York City on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
