NARAE LEE

Narae Lee debuted professionally in comics in 2007. She is perhaps best known to manga fans as the artist of James Patterson’s best-selling Maximum Ride OEL (original English-language) manga adaptations since 2008.

Her latest original manhwa title is Bloody Sweet — the story of a young Korean female shaman becoming inescapably “strung up” to a 500-years old vampire who’s drawn to the scent of her intoxicating blood.

After serialization over two years, Narae Lee won the 2016 Korean Ministry of Culture’s Grand Prize in Comics. Since then, it has also been translated for readers in Japan, China, France, Indonesia, and more becoming the top title on major comics platforms. For English readers, Bloody Sweet has been published by TappyToon in webcomic and physical graphic novel format.
