AZULETTE

Azulette is a Mexican-born costume designer, cosplayer entertainer, published concert photographer, graphic designer, and social media manager, based in New York City. From an early age, she felt very attracted to drawing and watching anime as well as reading manga. She credits her father with introducing her to video games and comic books.

During high school she discovered her passion for cosplay when her classmates gave her her first costume as a gift; she hasn’t stopped since then.

Azulette is completely self-taught. Her best friends are hot glue, velcro, and Redbull. At this point in her career, she has made upwards of 300 costumes in the genres of comic books, video games, anime/manga, and fanart. She owns more cosplays than regular clothes.

Over the years, Azulette has appeared at multiple conventions nationally and internationally in the cosplay community as a panelist, judge, performer, and host. She has collaborated with several companies including Bandai, Riot Games, and Redbull.
