Eric Maruscak has been appearing at conventions across the United States, making giant chalk murals as performance art since 2006, focusing on pop culture themes and comic book and anime imagery.

Eric has appeared at San Diego Comic-Con, New York Comic Con, the New York Anime Festival, Anime Expo in Los Angeles, Anime Central in Chicago, Otakon in Washington DC, the World Science Festival in New York City, the International Toy Fair and Play Fair, PAX in Seattle, and Star Wars Celebration in Orlando.

A few of Eric’s clients have included Lucasfilm, Nintendo, 2K Games, Funimation, Aniplex, Crunchyroll, VIZ Media, Virgin Atlantic, ESPN, Warner Brothers, Nickelodeon, Marvel, DC Comics, and more!

Some of Eric’s murals take over 30 hours to complete during the course of an appearance, and he records time-lapse videos of the entire process which are posted online not long after the show’s over. You can see more of Eric’s videos on his YouTube channel and website.

Eric will appear on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. He will be creating a massive chalk mural all three days of the show.
