Anime NYC welcomes Content Creators from around the world and the heart of the concrete jungle.

If approved, creators will receive one complimentary Creator badge and one discounted badge for an assistant/manager/videographer.

Before you apply, please understand:

THERE ARE REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY

Please do not apply for a Creator badge if you do not meet the requirements below:

• You must create content that is relevant to the Japanese, Chinese, and Korean Pop Culture industry, including but not limited to: anime, manga, manhwa, video gaming, tabletop gaming, cosplay, J-Drama/K-Drama, J-Pop/K-Pop, J-Fashion, etc…
• You must meet two or more of the minimum follower/subscriber counts:
  • Instagram: 10k followers
  • TikTok: 80k followers
  • Twitter/X: 5k followers
  • Twitch: 10k followers
  • BlueSky: 5k followers
  • Threads: 5k followers
  • YouTube: 10k subscribers

Note: we will also be taking your level of engagement into consideration

YOUR CREATOR BADGE HAS RULES

• Your Creator badge allows complimentary access during all public hours.
• Your Creator badge does NOT allow early access or special access.
• Your Creator badge does NOT allow you to cut lines.
• Your Creator badge does NOT guarantee you seats.
• Your Creator badge does NOT guarantee you autographs or free autographs from guests.
• Creator badges are nontransferable. You may not loan or sell your Influencer badge. Anyone conducting such behavior will have their Creator badge revoked and will be disqualified from our Content Creator program at future Anime NYC events.
• Prior acceptance into the program does not guarantee acceptance this year
• If you are found to have another complimentary badge (press, pro, etc.) you will be contacted by representatives of that program to return your badge(s). You are only allowed to have one type of complimentary badge.

APPLICATION TIMELINE

The deadline to apply is April 24th, 2026. You will hear back no later than Mid-May.

DECISIONS ARE FINAL

Anime NYC reserves the right to approve or deny any application. This decision is final and cannot be appealed. Include any and all information in your application that will allow Anime NYC to make an informed decision – you won’t be able to submit further information later on.
