syo5
syo5 is a freelance illustrator and animation creator based in Tokyo. He began his career in 2015 and helmed many novel illustrations and cover designs. Later he graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, upon receiving the student CG Contest Excellence Award in 2019 as one of the most anticipated talents of the year.
syo5’s artistic style focuses on atmospheric storytelling and grand world-setting designs. His recent notable works include Great Pretender as the image board creator (WIT Studio), BanG Dream! Discography – Dokusousyusa MV (独創収差) by Afterglow×TK (from Ling tosite sigure) as the character designer and lead animator, and higasa / nanawoakari MV as the animation director, storyboarder, and animator.
